Director 1, Amy Phillips, brings a special kind of passion and love to Modere. While much of her previous time was spent homeschooling and traveling for her husband’s profession, she’s been able to find a second home with Modere and her group of Social Marketers. We are overly proud to see what she’s been able to accomplish as a Social Marketer and are excited for her future with the company.
What is your professional background?
My profession is simple and rewarding–it’s being a mother! Being a mom is the greatest profession I could ask for. My husband is a full-time evangelist, which means we have traveled in the ministry for nearly 14 years. I’ve also had the opportunity to homeschool my three children while we were on the road–and that itself is a full-time job!
What sparked your interest in Modere?
The one thing that stands out in my mind are the products. Modere has created a brand that is clean, safe, and effective. Honestly, if products aren’t safe for my family to use, there’s no reason to look any further. I was able to find everything we need in Modere and their line of clean-label products.
What is the ultimate goal you are working to achieve with Modere?
Like any Social Marketer, I want to be able to provide a residual income and help make a better life for my family. It would be great to unload some of life’s financial stresses. Ultimately, I want to make it to Elite 3. That gives me the greatest opportunity to fulfill these goals!
To date what, has been your most memorable Modere experience?
When I went to Utah, I met an amazing group of corporate leaders whose goals and values align with my own. It was a fantastic opportunity to be able to visit Modere and see what I was going to be part of.
What has been your proudest Modere success thus far?
Speaking about the products, It would have to be losing eight pounds in the first two weeks on M3! Anybody who knows me, knows I’ve struggled in the weight-loss area. This was a big win for me and I was so happy and proud. As for my business, it was when I signed my first Social Marketer. It was at that moment I thought to myself, “I can do this!”
What is the most important thing you feel like every new Social Marketer should know?
Please don’t let insecurities stop you from reaching for whatever goal is before you. Sometimes, we settle for what others tell us we CAN do, not what we are capable of. Don’t listen to them because they don’t know your potential and what you’re made of! Step out of the box, which has tried to hold you captive from becoming what you were made for.
During times of discouragement, what do you remember to keep moving forward?
I try to remember my biggest fans and supporters and that’s my family: My husband, three kids, daughter-in-law and son-in-law and my three grandbabies. They are what keep me motivated and pushing forward in this business. For others, please don’t give up. It’s not always going to be easy, and in times of discouragement, look at the positive things that have taken place and be grateful for the stuff you have. Just don’t give up!
