Compassion is one of the most important Modere values. Help us put it into action by giving back to the local community during an on-site service activity as part of Social Retail Conference on Friday night.
This year our efforts and donations will be focused on The Road Home in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The Road Home provides many programs designed to support people who are overcoming homelessness. Not only does The Road Home run the largest homeless shelter in the state of Utah, they also offer an array of programs such as case management, mental health services, employment services, children’s programming, veteran’s services, housing programs and more.
How can you help at SRC?
We need your donations and your time.
Needed items (you don’t need to donate brand new items, gently used items are more than welcome):
New or Gently Used Winter Apparel such as:
New Women’s Hygiene Items
Unfortunately they cannot accept perishable items, bar soap, or any products containing alcohol (such as hand sanitizer). Bring the other items suggested above though and they’ll put them to good use!
There will be donation bins throughout the Salt Palace to accept your donations on Friday. These will be collected prior to the Modere Gives Back activity at 8 pm on Friday, February 19.
We’ll spend Friday night, February 19, 2016 from 8 pm to 10 pm at the Salt Palace putting together hygiene kits containing many Modere products provided by Modere HQ. Come serve with us at SRC!
Then we’ll donate the completed hygiene kits to The Road Home to use as they support those in the Salt Lake City area who are overcoming homelessness.
