Modere welcomes one of its newest Social Marketers, Monica French. Monica joins the Modere family with decades of marketing experience. She’s observed the way social media has changed the way people share information and communicate, and combined with her natural marketing mind, has been able to find phenomenal success.
Monica’s story with direct sales started back when she was 20 years old. She was a top performer when it came to selling vacuum cleaners. In just a few years working, she achieved an 80% selling average, while the national average for her company was just 30%. It was apparent being an entrepreneur was in her blood. Now, she’s brings that spirit to Modere.
When she was introduced to Modere, Monica was reluctant. She went in, looking for a reason not to be happy with what she heard.
“At first, I just didn’t care to move from where I was. If something was going to take me elsewhere, it would be the products. But when I heard about Modere’s focus on online social shopping and the customer experience, I knew they had a platform and a fit to take my business to the next level. Weight loss is a big focus for me. When I tried the M3 Body System, my appetite was more suppressed, I had more focus, my energy was off the charts, and I was losing pounds.

Monica’s road to success wasn’t always paved with gold. In 7th grade, she started feeling the effects of Guillian-Barre Syndrome, a disease that can cause temporary paralysis and extreme fatigue. Her parents pulled her out of school, never to go back.
“It’s hard to get a job when you’ve only gotten so far. But I became very grateful for the people in the marketing industry. They pulled me out of a hole. I found that even though I was missing the book smarts, I had common sense and developed a psychology of marketing.”
As she continued to juggle success with health complications, her husband’s job was outsourced overseas. They had to sell their home, their cars—nearly everything they owned and moved their small family into a trailer. But what started as a gloomy existence ended up being a blessing for her and her family.
“I came to realize the times in that trailer were some of the happiest in our lives. My family and I learned contentment, joy, and humility there. We grew closer together and I saw my children develop values that would make them successful.”
Since that time, Monica has gone from having just $12 in her bank account to having a six-figure income.
