Social Retail Conference 2022 FAQs

When and where is the 2022 Social Retail Conference?

Our Social Retail Conference will take place March 10 – 13, 2022 at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. You do not want to miss this incredible event!

Where can I go to register? 

We are excited to announce that we have a NEW registration platform! You can register by clicking here. Links to the registration form can also be found in the Back Office and at events.shiftingretail.com.

How much does it cost to register?

Early bird registration ends December 17th! Register for your in-person ticket for $149.99 or a virtual ticket for only $49.99!

Upgrade to the VIP experience just $50 more, and receive an incredible SWAG box! Plus, in-person attendees will get early access to the Modere Experience Lounge!

What will the price be for a ticket, if purchased the day of the event?

Tickets will be available for purchase onsite, at the event, for $199.99.

What is included with the event ticket?

Both ticket options include access to all general sessions, as well as breakout sessions. The in-person ticket also includes access to the virtual platform, the Modere Experience Lounge, the Welcome Reception and the After Party. Your hotel room is not included in the event ticket, and needs to be purchased separately.

How can I get the VIP swag box? 

In order to get the VIP swag box as part of the 2022 Social Retail Conference, a Social Marketer must purchase a ticket with the additional $50 VIP upgrade by January 24, 2022 at 11:59 PM MT. Guests are unable to purchase the Modere swag boxes.

What if I qualify with an XM ticket? Can I still get a swag box?

XM earners can either redeem a virtual or in-person ticket for the 2022 Social Retail Conference. However, to qualify for the VIP experience and receive a swag box – you must pay for the $50 VIP upgrade on your ticket. You have until January 24, 2022 at 11:59 PM MT to upgrade to VIP. Emails will be sent once a week with a link to register with your XM ticket. XM tickets will expire a year from your enrollment date. For questions regarding your XM ticket, please email events@modere.com.

Where can I view the event agenda?

A more detailed agenda will be posted to both the Buzz page and the Events page soon, but to help you with scheduling and booking travel, please see the high-level agenda below.

  • March 10 (Thursday Morning): Elite & Platinum Black Leadership Session (By invitation only. Elite and Platinum Black Social Marketers should plan to arrive in SLC on Wednesday, March 9th)
  • March 10 (Thursday Evening): SRC Registration and Welcome Reception
  • March 11 (Friday All Day): General Sessions, Breakouts, and Evening Awards Show (If you miss registration on Thursday, you will have an opportunity to register Friday morning.)
  • March 12 (Saturday All Day): General Sessions, Breakouts, and Evening After Party
  • March 13 (Sunday Morning): Checkout 

When will the Modere room blocks open?

The official Modere room blocks will open soon. Check back soon for more updates! You can purchase hotel rooms outside the Modere room block, however, you will not receive the discounted rate.

Will Modere provide transportation during the event?

All transportation, including to and from the airport, hotel, and convention center, is the responsibility and expense of the Social Marketer. The Salt Palace Convention Center is within walking distance of the hotels. Uber, Lyft, and public transportation (TRAX) are available at the airport and in downtown Salt Lake City.

Will Modere be providing any meals during the event?

Light finger foods will be provided at the Welcome Reception on Thursday evening and the After Party on Saturday night. All meals are the responsibility and the expense of the Social Marketer. There are plenty of popular local restaurants around the hotels and convention center in downtown Salt Lake.

Will there be tours of Modere Headquarters and the warehouse?

Tours of the Modere facilities are currently unavailable and are not being planned as a part of our 2022 Social Retail Conference. If circumstances change and tours become possible, we will notify all registered attendees.

When will guest registration open and how can they register?

Guests can register here beginning February 10, 2022 for $75. Guests cannot purchase a Modere Swag Boxes.

Do I need to purchase a ticket for my child, if are planning to attend with me?

Anyone under the age of 18 does not need a ticket if they are attending with you.

Does my co-applicant also need to purchase a ticket?

Yes, all co-applicants will need to register and purchase their ticket separately, in order to attend with you. They cannot purchase a guest ticket.
