How does the extension of the doubled discount impact the Commissionable Volume points on a SmartShip order?

In an effort to support our Social Marketers through the uncertainty of the past few months, the Commissionable Volume (CV) was not reduced to reflect the doubled discount, as is normally done with promotions. We felt it important to allow our Social Marketers to maintain their Commissionable Volume while offering their customers a greater discount.

Now, as we are all transitioning to our new normal, the Commissionable Volume on the double discounted SmartShip orders will be adjusted to reflect our normal promotional CV.

For the month of July only, however, we are going to continue to provide an additional half CV, allowing Social Marketers to temporarily continue earning a higher percentage than normal on SmartShip orders.

For example, if a SmartShip subscription normally qualified for 5% savings it would be increased to a 10% savings during the double discount promotion, but CV would only be discounted at 7.5%.

In August and September, CV will be calculated as usual, so that the percentage matches the discounts given to the customers.
