May 2: Day 1

WELCOME TO LEAN30 CHALLENGE

We are so excited to have you here with us! Our LEAN30 #LiveCleanLiveLeanTransformation Challenge officially begins TODAY! Get ready to take charge of your health and fitness, and check out our top 4 tips to help you make the most of your LEAN30 transformation!

1. TAKE 3, MAKE 3

The foundation of the LEAN30 transformation is the Take 3, Make 3 commitment. Get started by taking the 3 products found in the Lean Body System (Trim, Burn, and Activate). Then, choose 3 of the 5 Lifestyle Habits you want to incorporate into your daily routine:

-Drink 5 (12oz) glasses of water

-Avoid sugary drinks

-Walk 7,500 steps

-Don’t eat fried foods

-Eliminate white flour, rice, and sugar

2.TRACK YOUR MEASUREMENTS

The LEAN30 transformation is about much more than just a number on a scale. It’s so important to track your progress with photos AND measurements. Head over to the files section of this group for tips on taking great “before” photos and measurements that will help track your progress and showcase your hard-earned results.

3. LEAN30 NUTRITION PLAN

Your eating habits during your LEAN30 Transformation are an extremely important factor in your success. Head to the files section of this group for a customizable nutrition guide, as well as a variety of recipes that you can use to get started prepping your meals and setting goals to make the most of your time in the group.

4. WORKOUTS

Think of your daily schedule and determine the best times for you to incorporate your workouts.

May 3: Day 2

Your greatest victory may have nothing to do with the number on your scale. You might be losing inches, or maybe your clothes will fit better. Maybe you’ll have reduced cravings or get more restful sleep. Be sure to track your non-scale victories throughout your LEAN30 journey!

May 4: Day 3

#LEAN30TIP Are your goals SMART? When goal setting, it’s important to follow this acronym: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-Based. What’s one SMART goal you’ve set for this challenge?

May 5: Day 4

#LEAN30EXERCISE What music motivates you during a workout? We all have that one song that gets us moving, so what’s yours? May 6: Day 5

May 7: Day 6

May 8: Day 7

#LEAN30TIP Sleep is a crucial component to overall health. In fact, poor sleep can lead to a number of health problems, including weight gain. So let’s make good sleep a priority. Ensure that your bedroom isn’t too hot or too cold. Put the phone away and turn off the TV an hour before bed. Cover distracting lights and invest in a good pillow and mattress. 

May 9: Day 8

#LEAN30EXERCISE Stretching is an important, but often overlooked, part of workouts. Stretching helps your body warm up and prepare for the work ahead, while also helping to prevent injury. Do you stretch before you workout?

May 10: Day 9

#LEAN30NUTRITION We hear about it all the time, but when it comes to eating, who actually sticks to the recommended serving sizes? Read those labels and find out what a normal serving is for the foods you regularly eat. Leave us a comment telling us which food serving size surprised you the most.

May 11: Day 10

#LEAN30TIP Stress can wreak havoc on our bodies and make it more difficult to lose weight. So find activities you enjoy to relieve your stress, whether you write in a journal, take time to meditate, or play with your pet or child. Eating healthy and exercising regularly are also great ways to manage stress. What’s your best stress-relieving hack?

May 12: Day 11

#LEAN30EXERCISE Does anyone else love jumping rope when they were a kid? You might be surprised just how beneficial it can be when added to your workout routine. Jumping rope can improve your coordination, burn serious calories (up to 1,300 an hour!), and even make you smarter! It might be time to steal your kid’s jump rope, or buy one for yourself!

May 13: Day 12

May 15: Day 14

#LEAN30TIP Get some sunshine! Weather permitting, try to spend at least 30 minutes outside today! Take a walk, go on a bike ride, or play in a park, then comment below what you did outside today!

May 16: Day 15

#LEAN30EXERCISE How long do you exercise each day? It seems like there’s never enough time in the day, but imagine if you swapped out 15 minutes of scrolling through social media for a jog around the block? When you prioritize the important things, it doesn’t matter how much time you spend, but the progress you make!

May 17: Day 16

#LEAN30NUTRITION Staying hydrated is a crucial component of a healthy lifestyle. Track how many ounces of water you drink today, then comment with your final number!

May 18: Day 17

#LEAN30TIP Vacations can be tough. Do you put your progress on hold, or do you try to balance your routine while trying not to be a party pooper? Whatever you want, the best thing to do is plan beforehand. If you are going to keep a strict diet and exercise regimen, take a look at the healthy restaurant options and see if your hotel has a gym you can use. If you’re going to take a break, you might still want to keep things in moderation. It’s completely up to you! And it’s ok if you get back from vacation and you have some setbacks. Just get back into your regular routine, and start from where you’re at. You’ve got this!

May 19: Day 18

#LEAN30EXERCISE Are you an early bird or a night owl? When do you prefer to work out first thing in the morning, or later at night? Working out in the morning can help prepare your body for the day and help you get better sleep at night. Working out at night can be easier because your body is already warmed up and ready to go. Ultimately, the best workout time is the one that works for you. It’s better to exercise sometime during the day, rather than not at all. So when is your optimal workout time?

May 20: Day 19

#LEAN30TIP Your long-term success depends on the healthy habits you choose to adopt now. They shouldn’t be difficult or extreme; instead, focus on the habits that are achievable. We’ve given you lots of tips, tricks and challenges, so now we want to know, what’s one habit that you know you can commit to? What one simple thing can and will you do every day for the next year, or 5 years? What’s going to help you become the best version of yourself?

May 23: Day 22

#LEAN30EXERCISE Work it out! Push yourself and extend your workout an extra 10 minutes today! When you’re done, comment with the fire emoji and show us you feel the burn!

May 24: Day 23

#LEAN30NUTRITION Eating to stay awake? We’ve all been there. Something about feeling tired just makes us want to eat. We aren’t really hungry, just fatigued. Of course, the easy answer is, get more sleep. But when that’s not possible, try reaching for water, instead of food. If you need to eat, give yourself healthy options and reasonable portions. Be more conscious about your cravings. 

May 25: Day 24

#LEAN30TIP  To weigh, or not to weigh, that is the question. A scale can measure your body in pounds, but is it really giving you an accurate picture? As your body composition changes, your weight will fluctuate. It might go up or down, or stay the same. What it’s not telling you is how much fat you are losing or how much muscle you’re gaining. Sure, it doesn’t hurt to step on the scale every once in a while, but your progress is more accurately tracked through pictures and measurements. Judge your transformation by the differences in pictures, the numbers on the measuring tape, and the way your clothes fit and feel. And even if you can’t tell, others will certainly notice a difference!

May 26: Day 25

#LEAN30EXERCISE   If you’re ever tempted to skip leg day, you’re not alone. Some exercises are not as fun as others. What is one workout you struggle to do, but makes you feel accomplished when done?

May 27: Day 26

It’s important to reward yourself for reaching your goals, but make sure the reward doesn’t throw you off track. Leave a comment and tell us how you are going to treat yourself!

May 30: Day 29

#LEAN30EXERCISE Stop whatever you’re doing, and take a minute to stretch! Release some of that tension you’ve been holding in your muscles and get your blood flowing again. While you’re up, drink a glass of water (or two) to help you stay hydrated! 

May 31: Day 30

#LEAN30NUTRITION Try a new healthy recipe that you’ve never made before! Then comment below and tell us if it was a success or a fail! 

June 1: Day 31

#LEAN30TIP It’s easier to stay motivated when you have a friend to join you. In the comments, tag your fitness friend from this group, and don’t forget to thank them for their support!

June 2: Day 32

#LEAN30EXERCISE Walking is a great way to stay active! Whether you’re taking a walk around your block or going for a hike, the fresh air and exercise will do you good!

June 3: Day 33
